The annual Days of Play event runs from May 27 to June 10, 2026, bringing a variety of promotions and new content to the PlayStation ecosystem. During this period, consumers can find significant discounts on hardware and accessories, including $100 off the PlayStation VR2, up to $50 off Pulse wireless audio devices, and $30 off the DualSense Edge controller. However, this year's sale notably excludes any discounts on the PlayStation 5 console itself, the PlayStation Portal, and subscription renewals for current PlayStation Plus members.Despite the lack of renewal discounts, the event offers promotions for new PlayStation Plus subscribers, who can save up to 33% on a 12-month membership. Existing members on lower tiers can also save 33% when upgrading their remaining subscription time to the Premium or Deluxe tiers. These promotional discounts follow a recent price increase across all three PlayStation Plus tiers—Essential, Extra, and Premium—which specifically impacted the 1-month and 3-month subscription options for new and returning customers. As part of the June updates, PlayStation Plus Essential members will receive three monthly free games starting June 2: Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Subscribers can also claim exclusive digital bonus packs for titles like EA Sports FC 26, War of Tanks: HEAT, and Marathon. For those subscribed to the Extra and Premium tiers, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025) will be added to the Game Catalog early on June 9. Premium members specifically gain access to a new batch of Game Trials, featuring over 40 acclaimed indie games. While new titles are being added, several games are scheduled to leave the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on June 16. Subscribers will lose access to five titles, most notably Red Dead Redemption, alongside LEGO The Incredibles, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and We Love Katamari ReRoll.Beyond the Days of Play event, players can look forward to a major State of Play broadcast scheduled for June 2. The presentation will span over 60 minutes and will feature updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals for upcoming PlayStation 5 games. A primary focus of the broadcast will be Marvel's Wolverine, offering a closer look at the game's combat mechanics ahead of its scheduled release on September 15.
