CHRIS ACEVEDO - Actor

Chris Acevedo (he/him) is an actor, performer and voice-over artist in Chicago. His credits include work with Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Filament Theatre, First Floor Theatre, Raven Theatre, A Red Orchid, Court, Lookingglass, The Gift, Teatro Vista and many others. He received a BA in Theatre from Florida State University and is a graduate of The School at Steppenwolf. He is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent.

BETH HYLAND - PLAYWRIGHT

Beth Hyland (she/her)  is a playwright and screenwriter splitting her time between Chicago and the West Coast. Her plays include Fires, Ohio, Seagulls, Killed a Man (Joking), All-One! The Dr. Bronner's Play, Clearing, Red Bowl at the Jeffs, and For Annie. She is the co-founder and playwright-in-residence of The Sound. Her work has been developed regionally in the US and the UK at Goodman Theatre’s New Stages Festival, Steppenwolf LookOut, Octagon Theatre Bolton, Stephen Joseph Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville; in New York at The Hearth and Dixon Place; and around Chicago with The Sound, Jackalope Theatre, First Floor Theater, The Story Theatre, Broken Nose Theatre, The Passage Theatre, and others. Beth is currently a first year MFA candidate in playwrighting at UC San Diego.

MEG MCGUIGAN - SCENIC DESIGNER

Meg McGuigan (she/her) is a designer, scenic artist, and enthusiastic collaborator. She earned her MFA in Scene Design from Boston University, and has experience in theatre, events, and window displays. She finds joy in bringing abstract ideas through to their realized potential. Currently she is the scenic department head, and head designer at Paper Mache Monkey in Brooklyn.  Her wide variety of projects keep her happily on her toes, and satiates her desire for new problems to solve and stories to tell.

JON BEAL - Fight Director, Actor

Jon Beal (he/him) has been acting, performing and fight directing in Chicago for over 10 years. Acting credits include Victory Gardens, Chicago Shakespeare, Trap Door, The House Theatre, The Hypocrites, Strawdog Theatre, and Raven Theater. Jon is also an artist associate at The Lyric Opera of Chicago, where he has appeared in over 20 productions. Fight and blood credits include Cardboard Piano at TimeLine Theatre (Equity Jeff Award), Theatre Wit, Paramount, Black Button Eyes, The Hypocrites, BoHo Theater, Silk Road Rising, Goodman, Victory Gardens, Steep Theatre, Muse of Fire, and Jackalope. AMELIA HEFFERON - Actor, Teaching Artist

Amelia Hefferon (she/her) is an actor, teaching artist, and facilitator living in Detroit MI. While in Chicago, Amelia acted on stage at Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, and Porchlight among others. As a teaching artist she has worked at Adventure Stage Chicago, Lookingglass, Silk Road Rising, Raven Theatre and more. Amelia currently teaches with Matrix Theatre in Detroit and is a teaching artists in residence with Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit.
