I discuss with Author Helen Fry her latest book Nuremberg -The translator’s tale. This is the amazing story of Howard Triest, a German Jew who becomes the sole translator to the 21 remaining Nazis at the Nuremberg trials in 1946. He interacted with and interpreted between psychiatrists and several top Nazis- The new book powerfully covers this. He has to face Goering, Hess and the boss of Auschwitz, Hoss, who was responsible for killing his parents in the gas chamber, plus the ultimate anti semite Julius Streicher. A thrilling book which is both personal and chilling.
