I Ain’t Scared of You Mutha**** Kids!

Welcome back for Episode 7 of The A.M. Show with Aliana and Miles. If you're just tuning in you'll quickly come to find that this is a podcast between old friends catching up through real honest conversation. Miles in his signature story telling fashion discusses another Experience in the classroom that started out rough but ended up being rewarding. We discuss how student/teacher or child/adult interaction can translate both positively and negatively and shape decisions and attitudes well into adulthood. We address being purposeful in making an effort to influence young minds early on. We also get a quick glimpse into one way Miles makes giving back/paying it forward personal. Listen in as we talk about the experience of Miles as an K-8 substitute art teacher and his reaction to managing students refusal to work, cellphones in class,  breaking up a fight, and students who address themselves as 'Donald Trump.'

In this new episode we tackle a recent experience of Aliana aka "your favorite mom of 3 boys" and her gym attire coming into question by the gym police at our local York YMCA. Considering the public reaction after this years Super Bowl halftime show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira  we take a little time to explore the over-sexualization of women as well as how do we balance comfort and confidence in public and places where culture clashes. We also spend some time to contrast women's work out attire with women's volleyball, gymnastics, and male/female swimwear. Lastly, Miles finally starts his first day substitute teaching at Hannah Penn K-8 where he attended middle school with Aliana and we contrast that with experiences from 12+ years of working in Corporate America......
