Descripción

Tim Lim is this episode's friend/guest. The chat starts off fairly normal about what is a hobby and if our personalities and hobbies are slowly infusing into one big personality, and if that is a good thing overall. It then moves into some ad-hoc discussion-- given the amount of time that Millennials supposedly spend on it and given the prevalence it has in our universal societies-- about whether or not online dating is actually a hobby. We also hear about Tim's take on dating and whether or not this is one hobby we want to get better at. We also talk a little about the hustle culture surrounding us and how we can get out of it before it's too late.

Working Identity Crisis

Aisha from Kind of Funny Pod [https://anchor.fm/kind-of-funny-pod ]dropped by to talk about a Working Identity Crisis-- meaning to say, an identity crisis that is an ongoing piece of work in progress as well as an identity crisis at work. (Is this a type of double-entendre? We think so!) She talks us through her journey from Nigeria, to the UK, to the US, and back to Nigeria and London again and what her various experiences and exposure to the cultures she loves so much has taught her, both at work and in her personal life. She also shares about her love for pop culture and her ideal, super fab job (film critic for the New York Times). Kay overshares slightly on what she felt Tenet was like. Aisha's experiences as a Manager Editor at a Nigerian publication, as a trainee in London, and an all-around capable solo traveller teach us something new about how we can learn from all the cultures we are a part of and how it can make us more empathetic, understanding and open minded people.  Check out her podcast on Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/kindoffunnypod/] and Twitter [https://twitter.com/KindOfFunnyPod] for all your pop culture analysis needs.
