The Al-Attiyah Foundation
In this episode of the Al-Attiyah Foundation Podcast, we are joined by Patricia Roberts, an independent LNG consultant who advises clients on large-scale LNG infrastructure projects. A former manager at Shell, Ms. Roberts brings extensive expertise in strategic business planning, commercial strategy, contract negotiation, economic and market analysis, regulatory assessments, and project development. She has also served as an expert witness in international energy litigation and arbitration matters. In this podcast, the following questions are explored: How quickly can disrupted LNG supply—such as from Qatar or the UAE—be restored following an outage? How have evolving security risks affected LNG shipping availability and routing? With European gas storage levels currently low, how can restocking be achieved ahead of the winter of 2026/27?
