episode Connor Sansby on Kent Poetry artwork

Connor Sansby on Kent Poetry

Connor Sansbyis a legend in the Kent Poetry scene. After beginning his professional career in music management at the age of 16, he has since gone onto being long listed for Kent Young Business Person of the Year 2009 before starting Whisky & Beards Publishing in 2014. This has gone on to be one of the most recognisable names in contemporary UK poetry, being nominated for three Saboteur Awards for Most Innovative Publisher and Best Regular Spoken Word Night. It’s safe to say, he’s a bit of a big deal. And if that wasn’t enough, Connor is also the founder of Kent Poetry Collective and he has also been a producer for Margate Bookie since 2015, a local literary festival which now attracts over 3000 people. Which is actually where we first met.
