Just ship it

Full Circle

Have you ever felt like things have come full circle? The doors that were opened (and closed) have led me to this very moment. I am hosting my first women's retreat and I'm sharing with you all my feelings on this and giving some other life updates that have happened the past couple months. Sometimes it's hard to jump back in when life gets busy, but stay on the path...your story may be someone else's survival guide. The younger version of you would be so proud of you right now, keep going. We are on a path to walk back to ourselves and it's so beautiful.

Imposter

In this episode I really wanted to bring to light how using the term Imposter Syndrome can have negative effects on our ability to differentiate imposter from doubt and uncertainty. When we are talking about feeling like an imposter it removes doubt as a contributing factor and replaces it with feelings of being a fraud and someone who has bad intentions. Having doubt and uncertainty are normal aspects of life, they certainly do not make you an imposter.

The invisible labor

In this episode we are talking about mental load and how it has such a huge impact on our wellbeing and who we are. We will discuss the unrealistic expectations that have always just been put on us as mothers and how to talk about it and finding ways that can help elevate the stress of carrying it all. Most importantly, find the fun.

Doubt can only be removed with action

I think sometimes we have this idea that fear has our back, that it’s always protecting us. However, a lot of the time the fear that was planted in us at some point in our lives starts to create a barrier between where we are now and the life we want. It's not that the opportunity never presents itself, but that we are too afraid to take that step into the unknown. I'll share a little insight into my childhood and how much of a leap of faith it was to get here. You have it in you, you just have to trust yourself.

Just ship it

On this very first episode, after over a year of sitting on my goal of starting a podcast, I discuss not allowing fear to keep us from what we are called to do. I will be sharing my personal goals and thoughts on fear and letting it keep us from doing what on our hearts. I also share how I let fear dictate my actions and to finally just ship it. Show up scared and a little messy and the rest will follow.
