The Audacious Podcast
Hello Shipmates, and welcome to another episode of The Audacious Podcast, where we meet the people who make the extraordinary feel wonderfully ordinary. In this episode, Hugo Mitchell-Heggs is joined by Dr Sally Orange MBE - a former British Army Major, adventure athlete, and passionate mental health campaigner. Sally served for 22 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a physiotherapy officer, including a frontline deployment to Afghanistan. Since leaving the Army, she has completed over 87 marathons and 8 Ironman triathlons, often in full fancy dress to raise awareness for mental health charities. Along the way, she has collected multiple Guinness World Records and an impressive collection of fruity costumes. In this inspiring and open conversation, Sally reflects on her military career, her battles with mental health, her experience of breast cancer, and how running evolved from a personal passion into a powerful platform for purpose. A heartfelt, uplifting episode with a generous splash of fruit-based humour. Hosted by Hugo Mitchell-Heggs MBE. Powered by TEAM LEWIS Studios.
