Portada del episodio Legends: The Dark Wizard, Dean Potter

Descripción

Dean Potter was an influential figure in adventure sports for nearly two decades, and perhaps the single person that influenced me the most in my 20's and 30's and my personal interactions with him are many and profound. His death in 2015 was a shock (but not necessarily a surprise) to many that knew him, and left a diverse community of climbers, high-liners, and wingsuit jumpers grappling with their own mortality. The recent release of "The Dark Wizard" documentary brings up a lot of memories, and leaves me reflecting on his impact, and a lot of my unresolved thoughts about his life and death. I'd strongly recommend watching the wonderful 4-part series either before, after, or in conjunction with this podcast - you won't be disappointed. Oh, and I found the image of my own "Dean Potter" moment that I mention in the podcast, and it serves are the episode art. What was i thinking?!? That is some long hair! (and the yoga-highlining with no harness was a bit out there too!)
