Between an $11 million independent report, not yet released, that was commissioned by the university, and a lawsuit filed by a fired former assistant coach alleging a coverup at the university, the Michigan athletic department continues to be a mess. Once upon a time, a 12-0 Ohio State football season in 2012 led by Urban Meyer pulled Ohio State out of its troubled times. Ohio State will host Northwestern on Nov. 14 in the 10th regular season game for the Buckeyes.
