The Bitter Truth
We began with a question: what does it mean to be beautiful? The more I talked with friends about their beauty routines in preparation for this podcast, the more bewildered I felt about the lengths we all go to to make ourselves more beautiful: from waxes to skin care appointments to ten step routines. Beauty is a TRILLION dollar industry pedaling us makeup, skin care products, cosmetic surgeries, and botox. But do any of us feel more beautiful? I sat down with Dr. Sinéad Corrigan, a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine to draw inspiration from a deeper well of wisdom about beauty.
