Descripción

In the first episode of season two, we talk about the manosphere and how it has become mainstream to bash women, feminists, and single mothers online. This is a broad overview of some of the many manosphere talking points that used to be hidden in the dark corners of the internet but have become everyday hassles thanks to misogyny influencers like Andrew Tate. Every woman knows a woman who has been bullied or harassed online by men parroting the same sexist and misogynistic ideas, and if you talk about subjects like abuse or violence against women or feminism, that increases your chances of being the target of an online harassment campaign.

Fresh and Fit Demonetized on YouTube, A Conversation About Podcast Bros and Dating Coaches

Today I have special guest Expatriarch on the podcast to talk about how podcast bros and dating coaches are using lonely and disenfranchised men to make a profit. The red pill and manosphere teachings of these creators gives no kind of advice on creating healthy long term relationships or friendships with women or other men. Instead they teach coercive or manipulative tactics that serve only to foster shallow relationships that center only around sex. Fresh and Fit was recently demonetized by YouTube because of their misogynistic content. In Myron Gaines' book Why Women Deserve Less, he teaches that men have no control over their biological urges and that women are good for making sandwiches and providing sexual favors. It is my belief that these creators are ultimately damaging men's wellbeing and mental health, as they teach men not to take mental health seriously. This sets men up for failure in relationships and keeps them coming back to consume their con- tent. Red pill and manosphere propaganda creates a negative self fulfilling prophecy in a cult like environment that is hard to escape. Many of their beliefs are contradictory and keep men stuck in place.
