Episode #3: Byron Lane and Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk

Byron Lane [https://byronlane.com], an acclaimed author, playwright, and screenwriter, has written two novels Big Gay Wedding and his debut A Star is Bored, inspired by his time as Carrie Fisher's assistant. Recognized by The New York Times Book Review and People magazine for his humor and warmth, Lane's storytelling extends to the stage and screen. His hit comedy Tilda Swinton Answers An Ad On Craigslist received worldwide acclaim, as did his award-winning web series Last Will & Testicle, lauded as "fearless" by Cosmopolitan. Lane co-starred in and wrote the feature film Herpes Boy, which took home awards from Comic Con and Austin Film Festival. A finalist in Project Greenlight's See Yourself contest with the series trailer for Gay Divorce, Lane also holds two regional Emmy Awards from his journalism career. Originally from New Orleans, he now lives in Palm Springs with his husband, author Steven Rowley, and their rescue dogs. — Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk was (embarrassingly) the first book I've read by this famous author. I absolutely loved it and enjoyed the time spent discussing this title with Byron. This is a public episode.
