For starters she is the founder of the project Migrant Voices [http://ajacrites.com/migrantvoices], currently taking place in Colombia and targeting Venezuelan migrants. What Migrant Voices does is humanizes migrants and migration by showcasing their personal stories through beautiful photographs. Besides storytelling the Migrant Voices project also provides food packages, rent assistance, and medicine to Venezuelan families in Colombia. Additionally, Aja is a teacher turned photographer and storyteller. Her teaching job brought her to the Dominican Republic, where her love and passion for photography and storytelling flourished and fully developed. Her wanderlust led her to Colombia, where she is currently conducting her humanitarian project. Our Episode #13 of The Brave Entrepreneurs #Podcast is out!  And we have the honor of introducing Kelsey Freeman [https://www.kelseyfreemanauthor.com/] 🤩🎤 As a writer and educator, Kelsey is passionate about Indigenous rights, immigration policy, social justice, and public policy. Her passion for migration started in Mexiko with an interesting conversation with a man,  who was deported from California, and he asked a question: “How does it come, that you can come to my country to study my people for two weeks, while I am repeatedly demanded to go to your country to visit my family?  After this occurrence, she wrote a book “No Option but North: The Migrant World and the Perilous Path Across the Border”, which is based on a year of interviewing Central American migrants as they journeyed through Mexico. Working in Central Oregon Community College were also managed to run a college-readiness program for Native American high school students. James' life journey is really inspiring because he followed his dream.  He was born in Zimbabwe and as a young man, he finished the National University of Science and Technology with a first-class honors degree. But that field wasn't his dream or passion, because he always was interested in business.  So now James is living in South Africa and he is the founder of Birguid [http://birguid.co.za/]and co-founder of WeAreValora [https://www.wearevalora.com/]. James has also released two anthologies through his independent publishing company and released a mixtape titled Late but Still Great Volume 1.
