"One gives freely, yet gains even more..." — Proverbs 11:24 Just like the tire pressure light on your car's dashboard warns you when a tire is deflating, our spiritual lives show warning signs when we stop pouring out into others. In the final message of our "Dashboard Faith" series, titled "Serving Others," Pastor Rob reveals the essential missing link in our discipleship journey. Many of us want to grow, but we try to do it by only consuming. The truth is, your faith will always hit a ceiling until you start serving. True discipleship requires us to Connect, Grow, and SERVE. Join us as we look at how giving actually stretches our faith, helps us discover our unique purpose, and creates the vital margin we need to make room for God to move. IN THIS MESSAGE: The River of Life: Why "giving is living" and how serving turns the stagnant areas of your life into thriving, fresh water. Finding Your Role: Discovering that church isn't a theater where you watch, but a body where you have a specific ministry to complete. The Margin Equation: Why your spiritual growth is directly tied to the space you leave in your schedule. (Ability – Schedule = Margin!) SERMON NOTES & OUTLINE: I. WE BLESS OTHERS Serving stretches our faith. When we hoard our time, talent, and treasure, we become spiritually poor. When we give freely, God expands our capacity. Scripture: Ezekiel 47:9, Luke 6:38, Proverbs 11:24 II. WE BECOME THE CHURCH You have a specific place, purpose, and spiritual gift. Leaders exist to help you find that role, but it is up to you to see to it that you complete the ministry you've received. Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-12, Colossians 4:17, John 17:4 III. WE MAKE ROOM FOR GOD Do you actually have any room in your life for the Holy Spirit? If your schedule matches your maximum ability, you have zero margin for a miracle. To let God increase, we must decrease. Scripture: Ephesians 5:18, John 3:30, 2 Kings 3 & 4 OUR DISCIPLESHIP BLUEPRINT: To get to the other side of your faith, you cannot skip steps. Where are you on the map today? Connect (Seek Accountability & Develop Consistency) Grow (Biblical Literacy) Serve (Discover Ministry & Bless Others)

episode Are You Missing the Power You Were Promised? artwork

Are You Missing the Power You Were Promised?

"They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus." — Acts 4:13 In this powerful message, Pastor Doug Wyatt takes us into Acts Chapters 1, 2, and 4 to explore the life-altering gift of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost isn't just a historical event on the church calendar—it is an ongoing invitation to be empowered by God's presence. When the Holy Spirit fell on the early church, ordinary people were transformed into bold witnesses. As a church pursuing a "whatever it takes" faith, we need that same supernatural power today. Join us as we learn how to move past our own limitations, live in pursuit of God’s presence, and prepare our hearts to receive everything He has promised. IN THIS MESSAGE: From Ordinary to Bold: How proximity to Jesus and the filling of the Spirit turns untrained, ordinary people into powerful world-changers. The Promised Gift: Understanding why Jesus commanded the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit before starting their mission. The Environment of Pentecost: What happens when believers gather together in unity, expectancy, and hunger for God. SERMON NOTES & OUTLINE: 1. KNOW THE PURPOSE Why do we need the Holy Spirit? The Spirit is not given for our entertainment, but for our empowerment. He gives us the supernatural boldness to stand up and speak up for Christ. Scripture: Acts 1:4-5, Acts 4:13 2. STAY IN PROXIMITY The disciples were recognized because they had "been with Jesus." Are you intentionally placing yourself near the presence of God, or are you keeping your distance? Scripture: Acts 4:13 3. LIVE IN PURSUIT On the day of Pentecost, they were all meeting together in expectation. God responds to spiritual hunger. Are you genuinely hungry for what God wants to do in and through your life? Scripture: Acts 2:1-2 4. PREPARE YOUR POSTURE The wind and fire filled the house where they were sitting. To be filled, we have to be empty of ourselves. Are you surrendered enough to receive what the Holy Spirit wants to pour out? Scripture: Acts 2:3-4

Unexpected Tests

In the latest installment of our series, "Dashboard of Faith," Pastor Rob explores the "Temperature Warning" on our spiritual dashboard: Unexpected Tests. Life has a way of throwing us into high-heat situations without warning. While our natural instinct is often to panic or look for someone to blame, Pastor Rob shares how each unexpected test is actually a divine opportunity for growth. When the temperature rises, it isn't meant to destroy us, but to refine us—much like fire tests the purity of gold. Drawing from 2 Peter 1 and the story of Lazarus in John 11, this message challenges us to shift our perspective when we find ourselves in the middle of a trial. Instead of focusing on the circumstances around us, we are encouraged to navigate these moments with three specific shifts in focus: - Look In instead of Looking Out: It's easy to blame our surroundings or even the Lord when things go wrong. However, the most fruitful response is to look inward, asking God what He is teaching us and allowing Him to strengthen our character through the struggle. - Look Up instead of Looking Down: When we look down, we focus on the weight of our problems and the "blindness" of the world. When we look up, we find the power of Christ’s resurrection and a deeper fellowship with Him that only comes through difficult seasons. - Look Backward and Forward: Faith is often believing in advance what only makes sense in reverse. By looking back at God’s past faithfulness, we gain the confidence to look forward to the "great and precious promises" He has waiting for us. God has already given us everything we need for a godly life. Watch as we learn how to respond to life's unexpected tests by supplementing our faith with endurance, self-control, and love, ensuring that we become more fruitful and useful in our walk with Christ.
