Ep 1. The Firing.

People keep asking why I left my position. Because of the insane vagueness of the way the church let the congregation know they fired me, I decided it was time to let everyone know the truth. This is part I of a 3 part series where I let the cat out of the bag. It gets cray yo!

Ep 2. The Aftermath.

We get into what the church released as their statement after they fired me. We also talk about how much lawyers are!! DANG $$$. I also find out who my real friends were. I touch on the elders and the problem of lying.  We also touch on the fact that churches can use their unlimited funds to pay for their lawyer but pastors need to come out of pocket A LOT to protect ourselves.

Is your church a Sailboat or a Cruise-ship? Nick and I grew up together and talk about how similar our paths were. Leaving ministry and get deep into some major problems with power and politics inside the church. No matter the size, this affects all churches.  Nick left a LOT out of this story. I wish we could tell you more. But just know, he was wronged in so many ways. The idea that NDA's exist and that churches have to use them is VERY telling.
