Ice Rink turned Morgue in Spain: COVID-19 Update - March 29th, 2020

Europe is continuing on a harsh trajectory and pain will be felt, Spain which now is being hit as hard as Italy with an incredibly unfortunate 850 deaths in one day on March 28th. Brutal videos from doctors explaining many patients over the age of 65 have been triaged, which means they have been taken off of ventilator support, sedated and left to die in order for younger patients who require ventilatiors to get them.  Reports have also stated that entire ice rinks are being used to store the bodies of those deceased, in what I could imagine as pure horror.

USA 85,000+ Cases: COVID-19 Update: March 27, 2020

1/3 of humanity is now in lockdown. With over half of a million of us who have been infected with COVID-19. 24,000 have died and 120,000 have recovered. The numerical value gets less and less relevant as each day passes, all we have to know is we are in a great struggle for the ultimate gift and that is life.

The world has been mobilized we now have billions of people around the globe in isolation, as we have become physically distant however we have never been so connected. We are now brothers and sisters in arms on one mission flatten the curve. The world now has a confirmed 422,000 cases in over 197 countries. As health care workers and epidemiologists say it could easily be 10x that number. It’s as though we are moving through a very slow hurricane and there is not much in its path. As the exponential curve trends higher we have added roughly 45,000 official cases and 2300 deaths in a single day, with only more and more to come.

The numbers of infected have begun their truly exponential rise. We now have 342,000 cases globally with almost 15,000 who have succumbed to the disease, with almost 100,000 who have officially recovered. As Europe has become the epicenter of this virus Italy has been the on the forefront of the battle with a clear warning for the rest of the world just how much damage this disease can cause. Italy has called in the military to enforce total lockdown as civilians now have to have ID cards in order to get groceries and essential supplies in a Martial law-esque mobilization.
