The Iranians are people. Trump is a tyrant.

If a foreign power is involved in the death of innocent people we call them a dictator but when a US president and/or military is involved in the exact same criminal behavior they are vindicated by describing the victims as “collateral damage” and the unfortunate “price of war.” Why the hypocrisy? This is the question I attempted to answer in episode 4 of this podcast. It is a heavy topic and one that makes me angry but it must be addressed. We need to stop justifying the crimes of our personal heros and start defending our fellow human beings with the dignity and worth they deserve.
