The Christy Clark Show
Premier Scott Moe joins Christy Clark for an animated interview about how he has helped transform Saskatchewan into an economic powerhouse at a time when other provinces are struggling. Like his parents, Moe was a farmer but wasn’t interested in politics until he got involved with boosting businesses in his hometown. Since becoming a Saskatchewan Party MLA in 2011, Moe has always championed energy, economic growth and resource development, and he got into some big battles with former prime minister Justin Trudeau over it. Moe has been laser-focused on developing Saskatchewan’s resources and exporting them around the world but has also faced western alienation in his own province as separatism dominates the agenda in neighbouring Alberta. In this interview with Christy Clark, Moe speaks openly about: * How Saskatchewan became a global trade powerhouse * Leading in a big tent party * Challenge of saving public health care * Canada Health Act is outdated and has to change * Battling it out with Justin Trudeau * Mark Carney isn’t going fast enough! * Tackling western frustration * Taking our national energy sovereignty for granted * What the heck is a bunny hug?
