Andrew
In this conversation with Andrew, we talk through some of the struggles of homosexuality in the church, the hurt that can come from interactions with some Christians in this context, attempts to reconcile your faith and sexuality, and what we can all learn from Andrew and others with similar experiences.
Brett
In this episode, we sit down with Brett and discover two main things. 1) A church is more than just its staff. It is important that anyone who claims Christianity shows the grace and love of God to others. This is not just a call for pastors, but to all believers. 2) There are real people behind sin and hurt. When people step out of a church for whatever reason, it is not our job to judge whether they deserve to be reached out to. We must reach out, care, and love regardless of the circumstances. Brett provides great insight into how the church can better care for its members and for people in general.
Mike
In this episode, I sit down and talk with Mike about some of the more common experiences people have in the church that lead them to never coming back, even if they keep their faith. It is very easy to feel forgotten, unloved, and unwanted. Listen to Mike's story, and I bet most of us hear a little bit of our own story. Hopefully this is an encouragement you are not alone, and a motivation to step back into a church that cares for you. Christians, we HAVE to show our love for everyone who steps through those doors, and not just when they are at the church. Reach out and let them know they are cared for and loved.
