Descripción

Six historic statues that originally sat on the front of the building, have been restored, to put be put back on the roof of the building ahead of reopening. The Community Collective has written a song inspired by the statues returning to the roof and imagining what they would think of the Gorbals now from this vantage point. Music by Hilary Brooks. Lyrics by Hilary Brooks and the Citizens Theatre Community Collective. Recorded at Gorbals Sound. Watch our latest film and see the group recording the song: https://youtu.be/qvEuf02hTVM

Cupid, Draw Back your Bow

A horror radio play created by the Citizens Theatre WAC Ensemble. Cupid, Draw Back Your Bow is recommended for ages 15+. Scenes of violence, drug references and strong language. Inspired by their shared love of scary films, the company decided to create their own horror story for radio. Each of the ensemble created their own characters. The group then devised scenes where the characters came into conflict. The result was Cupid, Draw Back Your Bow - a terrifying tale about a camping trip gone hellishly wrong.
