She is the backbone of success for many students at Sinclair, equipping them with the skills they need not only to succeed at Sinclair but also in their future endeavors.She previously worked at the Fast-Forward Re-engagement Center, which aims to provide guidance to out-of-school youth and those at risk of dropping out by helping them choose the best academic pathways to ensure their success. Today, we welcome Professor Amaha Sellassie, a key figure in the Dayton community. He is a community builder, peace advocate, and social justice activist. As the co-founder and president of the Gem City Market's board of trustees, he works to combat food apartheid by improving access to fresh produce in West Dayton. Additionally, he serves on various local organizations and is a Sociology Professor at Sinclair Community College.
