Not only do they don their secret identities, to undertake their regular missions into the unknown, throwing down their wisdom and clichés onto the podfloor, daring the podverse to challenge them on their well-crafted views, but they retain the wherewithal, the temerity, the necessary foie gras to maintain the illusion of normality in the so-called real world. Why listen to a Doctor Who related podcast? You may as well ask why we bother to breathe in after exhaling. Like oxygen, Doctor Who podcasts are difficult to live without after their magic has once been enjoyed. Like oxygen, podcasts travel through the air... sort of. And our pod-catching apps are the lungs of... Well, your ears are kind of like a nose that can... No, hang on. This simile has kinda gotten away from me. Or is it a metaphor? A proper Doctor Who podcaster would know the difference. And maybe that's the point. Yeah, let's go with that.
