Marvel has done an incredible job bringing the Age of Heroes onto the BIG screen and made us feel not only as if we were part of the Heroes journey with incredible visual masterpieces but also part of the overall Comic world Evolution ("Age of Wonders") by creating a cinematic universe that spanned a decade with each experience being connected by dozens if not hundreds of Easter eggs that make the audience say "What's next???".  Marvel's response, "We're bringing the universe to your homes and onto the SMALL screen!" with an ambitious attempt to carry the magic of the big blockbuster into a world that is only defined by stories and mystery.  Can Marvel bring the magic and mysteries it's created over a decade to a story that grows each week? Anime for the Ages (with Peter)

Stories. Throughout our childhood, stories have been the primer for our imagination to understand the "Art of the Possible" that exists in the world before we even have a chance to take a step into it on our own. Whether they are the books your parents read you before bedtime or the episodic adventures found in Saturday morning cartoons, the stories in these childhood artforms taught us the basics of "good" vs "bad", helped us explore the past, present, and potential futures on Earth and in faraway places and gave us all immense joy.  For some kids they chose to move on from the stories, cartoons, and animated adventures of their childhood; but for me and  today's guests we added to our experiences by delving into the joys and endless possibilities of anime! Anime isn't just adult cartoons, it's an evolution of an artform that has taught us so much and now as adults continues to not only entertain but help us understand the complex stories from around the world.  The episodes became journeys that taught us about growth and perseverance. The characters became heroes (or villians) to root for and watch become more than where they started. Age of Wonders (Prologue)

Imagine being able to tell your childhood self that those after school / Saturday morning cartoons would become epic, come-to-life, feels-almost-real, live action movies; or all those stacks of well worn comics that you spent hours reading would become the foundation for what drives who you can become as an adult ... and nobody would be surprised. It's an "Age of Wonders" that has seen many of us see our childhood imagination become reality and it's been a true joy, but also a revelation of who we've become and why. All I can say is "Thank You!" to all those that make it happen and continue to make it happen because you truly inspire generations past and generations to come! I also want to take a moment recognize and thank all the amazing heroes in the world today.
