In the 2026 season they will play a 3rd place division schedule with Joe Burrow coming back which will obviously make a dramatic difference to this team. The Bengals have also had several key acquisitions on defense this season which should be an immediate help to their team. The NFC East will also face the NFC West which means the Cowboys will be facing the Cardinals, Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers which will not be easy for any team in the NFC East. One blessing the Cowboys do have is a late bye that splits the games at Seattle and at the Rams. TheWenzelperspective is an instagram account both of us follow and love interacting with so we thought why not react to one of their early predictions. Of course it is way too early to be doing this but what else can we do until the schedule release? With the 2026 NFL season slowly coming up its fun to think which division will be a juggernaut in the NFL next season. Naturally two come to mind the NFC West & NFC North. Both divisions have been competitive the past couple seasons and will look to stay competitive going into the 2026 season. Some divisions that could be considered a lot harder next season would be the NFC East & AFC West. I would argue in both divisions that bad teams got a lot better and the previously "good" teams in both divisions were humbled a bit in the previous season.
