Along the way, they witness impossible scenes: a brimstone-tainted mirage of centaurs running through phantom fire, an ancient hidden route known as Magi’s Pass, and an old-world ruin that seems tied to something far worse. When Shawn investigates the structure alone, he returns shaken by a vision of a burning world and Luna shattered across the sky. The revelation strikes Sharael hard, and in the aftermath, the company is left with more fear than certainty. What Dire Wood is showing them remains unclear.
