A Letter to the daughter I thought I would never meet

Part of my adoption story - Post Adoption Support Queensland (PASQ)was an enormous help to me in my journey. As part of creating the best mindset, I wrote a letter to my daughter which was sent from the Government Department with her papers before we made contact 50 years after her adoption. When PASQ had their 10th anniversary, they published 'Hope and Healing'. At the launch I was invited to read my contribution which was 'my letter'... here it is. An amazing emotional, fulfilling and peaceful thing for me to be able to do.
