The "E" of Real Estate podcast
At the end of 2019, Michael Chown wrote a draft manifest: Action Plan for a New Civilisation within Earth’s Capacity. - 7 Steps We Must Achieve by 2030 Together. He uses the county of Gwynedd, where he lives and works, for the pilot project. Gwynedd is a sparsely populated county in the north-west of Wales, with an area of 979 square miles (2,535 km2) and a population of 117,591 (2022). The ratio is 120 people per square mile (46/km2).Then the unthinkable happened: the world went into a lockdown at the beginning of 2020. For about three years, humanity was kept hostage in undemocratic and non-transparent ways. This podcast explores Michael’s vision and master plan for a New Civilisation within Earth’s Capacity. The whole Earth is our inner world and the embodiment of the outer world’s completeness. Everything in between is a social construct which will shift from global, centralised control to local, integrated, open networks. The challenge boils down to one process - seeing ourselves together in a world that works for us. Making a local workable, productive society is a replicable society.Topics being discussed:1. What is an Archiculturalist? (00:37)2. Update about the action plan for a new civilisation in 2030.
