The EDUS Podcast
In our fourth episode, we explore what it truly means to build a sustainable society — one person at a time. We talk with Teresa Hansen, a development consultant at Rot and Godt, a private organization in Denmark that combines the production of furniture from reclaimed materials with education and employment programs for youth at the margins of the labor market. Teresa shares how Rot and Godt takes a holistic approach to supporting young people — from hands-on workshop experience and classroom learning, to social work and mental health support — all guided by the belief that people, like materials, always deserve a second chance. We hope you find this conversation as heartwarming as we did. Enjoy. Educating for sustainability (EDUS) is a project funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, aiming to foster the integration of Education for Sustainable Development into Vocational Education and Training.
