Episode 11: Gretchen Minton Discusses "No Winter's Tale"

Dr. Gretchen Minton joins us to talk about her adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, “The Winter’s Tale.” In her play, “No Winter’s Tale,” Minton tackles the topic of climate change, setting her modern tale in the American mountain west. We have a conversation that ranges between what audience members can expect from the upcoming performances, Minton’s inspiration for her ecological adaptations of Shakespeare, and how the arts might communicate both the cautionary tales related to climate change as well as a vision of hope. Performances will be on November 5th at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky and on November 7th at the Montana State University Black Box Theatre. TICKETS ARE FREE and can be claimed at https://www.gretchenminton.com/no-winters-tale [https://www.gretchenminton.com/no-winters-tale].
