20 Realities Women Lived Through Before Liberation.

This Women’s Day episode reflects on how far women have come and the societal barriers that once limited women’s independence, voices, and opportunities. Not long ago, women faced restrictions that shaped every part of their lives from financial dependence and limited education to social expectations that silenced their ambitions. Through courage, resilience, and collective effort, women across generations challenged these limitations and created new possibilities. In this episode, we explore the realities women have overcome and the freedoms many women live with today: the ability to build businesses, support families, pursue education, lead communities, and define their own identities. Women’s liberation didn’t only create opportunity it created responsibility. With greater freedom comes the power to choose the lives we build, the communities we shape, and the voices we amplify. A reflection on history, progress, and the courage required to live fully in the freedom women before us fought to secure.
