The Everyday Pursuit
Cops, Firefighters, BPs, and COs should train a little differently than the average person at the gym. Even if performance is not your “top” priority, it's definitely something you need to focus on. A lot of people go to the gym purely for aesthetics, which is great, but they don't have a job where they're putting themselves in imminent danger each week. This means you have an obligation to yourself, your career, and your community to be more of a performer than the guy who goes to the gym and does curls in the squat rack, lol. You should be prioritizing a 360 approach to your fitness if you want to be a well-rounded athlete AND look amazing all year long! In this episode, Coach Mike (Pursuit tactical performance coach) and I share what tactical athletes should be prioritizing when it comes to their programming and performance.
