Descripción

Max Verstappen claimed a sixth straight Formula 1 win the British Grand Prix, as Lando Norris defeated Lewis Hamilton for second. Verstappen was relatively untroubled at Silverstone after dispatching the fast starting Norris on Lap 5, easing to a 43rd career win. A Safety Car bunched the field up allowing Verstappen, Norris and Hamilton to pit and not lose as much time as those behind including Oscar Piastri and George Russell. Verstappen bolted on the restart as Norris aggressively defended against Hamilton, but the race ended with two British drivers on the podium in their home race for the first time since 1999. Elsewhere Checo Perez recovered to 7th after starting in 15th following his Q1 exit and Alex Albon managed to fend off the two Ferraris to take home P8. As per usual, Ferrari absolutely binned their race at a circuit where they had pace to take home a good haul of points. Here are our post race thoughts. Voices of: Theo and Hezion
