In this episode of The Family Pulpit Podcast the dynamic duo reunite for a rousing conclusion to Season 1 (potentially). We take some time to define The Family Economy by exploring the meaning and what it might look like in practice. There are a few rabbit trails along the way, including the co-hosts design of an 11,000 ton ship. JD Hall on Dispensationalism

In this mobile edition of Notes from the Pulpit, I lay out some of the generational divisions that are taking place before going into some of the basic beliefs of Dispensationalism. Hall's (mis)characterization of Dispensationalism's origins beginning with John Nelson Darby is classic historical regurgitation. He and many others have used Darby as a scapegoat for an otherwise complex movement that developed over time. Finally, and more importantly, Hall, as with so many others, claim that God's future plan for Israel is limited to dispensational beliefs. It's simply not true. That God isn't finished with Israel has been the majority position held by Christians since the New Testament, including the Reformed, Puritans, Charles Spurgeon, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and others.
