You feel like a demonic powerhouse for only a brief moment in time only to go back to your normal self shortly afterward. Regardless of how you use it or lack thereof, it's powerful and one-time use is a common trope. Everything is open to criticism (even JoJo) and one of the most popular critiques of anime are its heavy use of tropes. From specific character archetypes like cute lolis to more nuanced literary devices such as deus ex machina, tropes remind us that nothing is original and writers can be overly lazy.
