Descripción

Have you ever stared at your to-do list knowing exactly what needs to be done... but still couldn't get yourself to start? In this episode, I'm sharing practical ADHD-friendly strategies for those moments when motivation is nowhere to be found. Instead of forcing yourself through guilt, shame, or pressure, we'll explore ways to work with your brain and create sustainable momentum. One of my favorite tools is something I call "doing it shitty." It might sound counterintuitive, but giving yourself permission to do a terrible first draft can be exactly what helps you get started. We'll also talk about how to identify what you actually need, make tasks more enjoyable, create supportive routines, and stop expecting yourself to function like someone else. If you've been stuck in procrastination, perfectionism, or burnout, this episode will help you take the next step with more self-compassion and less resistance. What You'll Learn: ✅ Why motivation isn't required before taking action ✅ How "doing it shitty" can help overcome perfectionism ✅ Questions to ask yourself when you're avoiding a task ✅ ADHD-friendly ways to make work more enjoyable ✅ How to create routines that support your brain ✅ Simple ways to reduce overwhelm and increase follow-through Key Takeaway:You don't need to force yourself into action through guilt or pressure. When you understand what your brain needs and create support around it, taking action becomes much easier. 99. Stop Living on Autopilot: Design a Life You Actually Want

In this episode of the Fierce Framework Podcast, I'm continuing our conversation about the Romanticizing Framework and what it looks like to move beyond simply surviving and start intentionally creating a life you love. Many of us spend years in survival mode. We're checking boxes, handling responsibilities, and doing what we need to do to get through the day. But eventually, there comes a point when we realize we want something more. We want space to think, dream, create, and intentionally choose the direction of our lives. In this episode, I share why creating margin in your schedule is one of the most powerful things you can do for your mental and emotional well-being. We talk about stepping off autopilot, questioning inherited expectations, reducing overwhelm, and building the capacity needed to thrive instead of simply survive. Key Takeaways: ✨ You can't design your future when all your energy is spent surviving the present. ✨ Margin creates capacity, and capacity creates options. ✨ Doing less isn't laziness. It can be a strategic decision. ✨ You can build a life by design instead of by default. It's something you intentionally create. ✨ Taking care of yourself allows you to show up better for everyone around you. 98. Stop Dimming Your Light: How to Embrace Your Needs and Thrive

In this episode of the Fierce Framework Podcast, I'm talking about something many of us struggle with: being okay with, and accepting, that we have needs.  Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that needing support, rest, accommodations, or help meant we were "too much" or "not enough." But the truth is that having needs is part of being human. We aren't meant to function exactly the same way as everyone else, and that's especially true for neurodivergent entrepreneurs. I share why self-acceptance is such an important part of personal growth, how negative beliefs about being different can hold us back, and why embracing your unique wiring can help you build a more sustainable and fulfilling life. We also talk about finding support, protecting your energy, and giving yourself permission to stop dimming your light for the comfort of others. Key Takeaways: ✨ Having needs does not make you weak. It makes you human. ✨ Your brain may work differently, but different does not mean deficient. ✨ You don't need to dim your light so others can shine. ✨ Support systems are a strength, not a failure. ✨ Sometimes sustainability looks like doing less, not more. 97. The Power of Checking In: How to Get Unstuck and Move Forward

When you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unable to move forward, the answer usually isn't to push harder. In this episode, I'm talking about the power of checking in with yourself before taking action. Instead of judging yourself for struggling, we'll explore how curiosity, self-compassion, and honest self-assessment can help you identify what's really getting in the way. I share practical questions you can ask yourself when you're feeling blocked, how to determine whether you need inspiration, support, rest, or accountability, and why focusing on the next reachable step is often more effective than obsessing over the end goal. We'll also talk about the difference between a rough day and a rough season, and why taking a break doesn't mean you've quit. What You'll Learn: ✅ How to identify what's actually blocking your progress ✅ Questions to ask yourself when you're feeling stuck ✅ Why self-compassion creates more momentum than self-criticism ✅ How to know whether you need rest, support, or inspiration ✅ The difference between a rough day and a rough season ✅ Why taking a break isn't the same as giving up Key Takeaway:You can't choose the right next step if you're not honest about where you are. Checking in with yourself creates clarity, compassion, and sustainable progress.
