In This Episode, We Discuss: The Root of Insecurity: We unpack why insecurity is so hard to identify and address — and how, like an onion, God takes us layer by layer until we reach the core and discover what it truly means to be rooted in His love. From Insecurity to Identity: Steve shares his personal journey as a musician chasing applause and approval, and how a revelation from Ephesians 2:10 — that we are God's workmanship — began to shift everything about how he saw himself. The Treadmill We Don't Know We're On: We talk about how insecurity quietly transfers from one thing to the next — from performance to career, from titles to approval — and what happens when those things get stripped away and the real work begins. When Insecurity Shows Up in Marriage: We get honest about how insecurity can become the tinted lens through which everything is filtered, making even the most well-meaning conversations land the wrong way — and what it took for us to stop prying open the oyster shell and trust God to do what only He can do.
