Singapore based Taiwanese-Canadian singer-songwriter Anie Fann has carved a niche for herself within Taiwan’s indie scene as an artist who is as genre-bending as she is cerebral. When I first met Thai-Italian singer-songwriter Valentina Ploy, the thing that stood out to me the most was her warm, genuine energy that infected every room she was in. An artist that truly wears her heart on her sleeve, she has gone from strength to strength, gaining significant support for her music digitally, to opening for Coldplay last year.
