Acacea Lewis is a dedicated researcher and educator with over 11 years of extensive experience in the study, cultivation, and facilitation of psilocybin mushroom use and other entheogenic substances. Her journey began as an aspiring physicist, later transitioning into a profound exploration of the ancient wisdom encapsulated in plant and fungi medicine. This academic foundation, combined with her commitment to traditional knowledge, informs her holistic approach to understanding and promoting the beneficial use of psychoactive substances. Acacea is the proud founder of Divine Master Alchemy, an institution at the forefront of Entheogenic Cultural Literacy and Applied Naturopathic Medicine Research. Through Divine Master Alchemy, she aims to bridge the gap between the mystical and the scientific, fostering a deeper understanding of the healing potential of entheogenic substances. In this episode of the podcast, we discussed ethnobotany, psychedelic buddhism (or the lack thereof), appetites for altered states, psychedelics as rights of passage, tea ceremonies and much more.
