Wrongful Convictions Are Real

Studies estimated that between 4 to 6 %.  In terms of real numbers meaning that an estimated 1 in 20 criminal cases result in a wrongful conviction.  With almost two million people in our jails and prisons that mean TENS OF THOUSANDS INCARCERATED PEOPLE WERE WRONGFULLY CONVICTED. Texas alone led the nation with 363 exonerations in the last 30 years The National Registry of Exonerations keeps records of over 2000 cases across the country that ended in exoneration for the defendant found that three crimes are most commonly involved in exoneration cases   https://www.courier-journal.com/story/opinion/2022/12/30/wrongful-convictions-kentucky-must-compensate-victims/69764655007/ [https://www.courier-journal.com/story/opinion/2022/12/30/wrongful-convictions-kentucky-must-compensate-victims/69764655007/] Fifteen people  and growing  in KY  have spent more than 200 years imprisoned for crimes we did not commit, but we still have not received a dime from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These miscarriages of justice have taken years off our lives that we can never get back. The least the state could do is compensate us for these losses. ONLY TWO OF THOSE ARE EXONERATED.   Everything is our opinion only/ we are not lawyers / we are Freedom FIGHTERS.     Music provided by Soundstype Ian Kelosky Light The Way.  All rights reserved.
