Descripción

Across Northern Minnesota, small farms are doing big work. Some grow vegetables, some raise livestock. Some craft small batch goods that taste like heaven on earth. And, a few miles east of here, between Embarrass and Babbitt, there's a low stretch of land where the fog settles early and the moose wander through like they own the place. And that's where you'll find Heather and Rory Mahoney, the team behind Heather's Home Goods. Further back in the pines along the Pike River, you'll find Fat Chicken Farm, run by today's first guest, Jana Goerdt. And scattered across this landscape are specialty growers like Mickey White and Chuck Neil, each with their own rhythm, their own craft, and their own way of feeding this place we call home. And today we hear their stories.
