Called to Pray, Witness and Proclaim

“The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the Gospel.” (Mk. 1:15) Dwelling on these verse, reminds me of the words Jesus has spoken to the Pharisees, “I came not to call righteous, but sinners” this is a wonderful reflection that Christ came to preach good news to the poor, that is to bring healing and peace to all who suffer. I often imagine Jesus preaching this Gospel with a steadfast heart reaching those who long for it.
