Bonus Feature: The Power of Storytelling

In this special bonus feature, we will explore the power of storytelling with Honey Al-Sayed. Honey’s own story is compelling – and will inspire you. She is an award-winning creative social entrepreneur, media expert and certified executive coach, with more than 20 years of experience in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Honey is currently the founder of Honey& a consulting, facilitation and coaching business. She also founded MAP – Media and Arts for Peace – an initiative that gets to the heart of conflict harnessing the power of media and arts. Rand Corporation has called her the “Oprah of Syria” after breaking new ground in Syria's media scene with the #1 rated morning show "Good Morning Syria" for 6 years with 7 million listeners. Honey was forced to leave Syria for the United States in 2012. Displaced by war more than once in her lifetime, Honey has shared her personal and professional experience through courses at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, the University of Denver, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) where she developed an online course on the role of the media and arts for peace building. Over the next hour, Honey will narrate her story for us.
