Tulsa beat New Mexico in the NIT semis to hit 30 wins for the 2nd time in program history, and will now take on the SEC's Auburn Tigers for the NIT Championship. 8-25: Near the Pinnacle

The Tulsa men are in the NIT Final Four and are closing in on their first NIT Championship since 2001. Standing in their way are the New Mexico Lobos in the semifinals on Thursday at 6:00 PM central at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The winner gets Auburn or Illinois State in the championship game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (also in Indy). In this one, I preview New Mexico before airing our guest appearance on The Pit Press Podcast where we previewed Tulsa for New Mexico fans. Hope you enjoy it! Can't wait for Thursday night.

8-24: Tulsa is a 1-SEED in the NIT

Tulsa fell to Wichita State 68-81 in the American Championship semifinals after losing David Green to injury and Tyler Behrend to fouling out while Kenyon Giles went supernova for the Shockers. HOWEVER, Tulsa received a 1-seed in the NIT the very next day and will host Stephen F. Austin in the Reynolds Center in the first round on TUESDAY! That's today, at time of publishing. It's the Tulsa men's first postseason bid of any kind since 2016. Can't wait. Matt's out, so it's just me for this one.
