S3 E3 Side by Side: Outkast x The White Stripes (Playlist Episode)

This one's personal! Welcome to the second installment of our side by side series, where we pick 2 artists to compare and contrast, and create playlists that showcase their best work. The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony featured touching speeches from inductees Outkast and the White Stripes, which got us reflecting on how big of an impact these acts made on our young lives. We start off with the Julius-crafted Outkast playlist, which samples from almost every Outkast album, but also includes a solo Big Boi track that reunites the duo, along with a slick Raekwon verse. We share our album rankings and make the case for Big Boi in the face of people who focus solely on André 3000's undeniable greatness. Then we discuss Danny's White Stripes playlist, including tracks demonstrating why Jack White was a guitar hero for a 10-year-old Danny picking up the electric guitar.
