Fear affects us on a daily basis and causes us to react and make decisions which can impact on our lives direction even steering us away from our true path. Fear really is there when we genuinely have to protect ourselves. It’s a vital response to physical and emotional danger, and LIFE OR DEATH back in the day, which was how it was in ancient times, people faced ACTUAL threats. We have evolved from this yet still experience FEAR; change, success, failure & abandonment which cause responses such as fight, flight of freeze. These fears can arise from being taken out of your comfort zone, public speaking, flying , spiders and CHANGE. Within this I discuss how I encountered fear which held me back from decision and triggered self saboteur behaviours, this ultimately is sabotaging yourself and leading you away from your dreams. These reactions can lead to shame and regret and then cause your fears to become worse through expecting this painful outcome, this can turn in to a pattern and the only way to overcome this is to recognise and face HEAD ON. WE explore 10 ways to overcome fears and maintain calmness. If you don't change anything, nothing changes. I hope this is useful.
