Descripción

In this episode of The Impact Connection, Impact 4 Good interviews The EVAN Foundation, an organization established in memory of Evan Lindberg that’s working every day to bring a brighter today and a better tomorrow to kids facing neuroblastoma and other childhood cancers. We talk about the Foundation’s twofold approach: fueling groundbreaking pediatric cancer research (including support for early-career scientists through the Evan Lindberg Neuroblastoma Research Scholars Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) and creating immediate, in-hospital moments of relief through their Treats & Treasures Carts, which bring snacks, toys, and comfort items directly to young patients and families at no cost. Impact 4 Good proudly supports The EVAN Foundation through our Comfort Buddies experience, a hands-on give back event that brings comfort, creativity, and care directly to children facing serious illness. During these events, corporate and community teams come together to create personalized plush Comfort Buddies, each one designed to deliver encouragement, emotional support, and a tangible reminder that a child is not alone. This partnership helps create moments of connection and compassion for pediatric cancer patients and their families when it matters most.

Opening Doors, Changing Futures: The STEM for Her Story

In this episode of The Impact Connection, we shine a spotlight on STEM for Her and the incredible work they’re doing to open doors for girls and young women to explore futures in science, technology, engineering, and math. Through scholarships, mentorship, and hands-on programs, STEM for Her is helping the next generation build confidence, discover new passions, and step into careers where women have traditionally been underrepresented. Impact 4 Good is proud to partner with STEM for Her through hands-on give-back experiences like Coding Forward, a program designed to spark curiosity and create access to technology for the next generation of innovators. As technology advances at an exponential rate, opportunities in STEM continue to grow, but access to the tools needed to explore these fields is not always equal. Through Coding Forward, corporate teams work together to build coding kits that include a programmable robot, a velocity sensor car, and a “STEAM Dare Devil” cape, all designed to make learning about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math exciting and approachable. Tune in to hear how their mission is creating real opportunities, why this work matters now more than ever, and how community partnerships are helping make these life-changing experiences possible.

Part of the Big Picture: How Ronald McDonald House Brings Comfort to Families in Crisis

In this episode of The Impact Connection, we sit down with Ronald McDonald House, a longtime Impact 4 Good beneficiary dedicated to supporting families during some of their most stressful and vulnerable moments. When a child requires extended medical care far from home, Ronald McDonald House provides more than a place to stay, they offer stability, compassion, and a sense of community when families need it most. From lodging and meals to emotional support, their work ensures families can focus on what matters most: being together. We also explore how Impact 4 Good partners with Ronald McDonald House through the Mural of Hope program, a hands-on give back experience designed to transform cold, intimidating spaces into vibrant environments filled with color, creativity, and encouragement. During a Mural of Hope event, participants complete individual paint-by-number panels — each simple on its own, but powerful when combined. As the mural comes together, so does the message: every person plays a role, and together we create something meaningful. These mosaics are donated to hospitals, schools, and community centers, brightening spaces for children, families, and the employees who serve them every day. This episode highlights the beauty of collective impact, how small acts of service, when united by purpose, can bring comfort, hope, and joy to families navigating incredibly difficult seasons.
