Episode Highlight: "I think we need to be aware that everyone is unique and that people from different races or religions or social groups can have their own beliefs and practices, particularly when it comes to their own health. So to be culturally competent to me means to have the ability to understand that everyone's going to have different beliefs and practices and that you need to work within that framework to ensure that you deliver healthcare in a way that doesn't compromise their beliefs and it still allowed them to have the best outcome." - Dr. Venugopal _____________________________________________________________ Interested in joining one of California's top performing medical groups?
