The Interactive Trade Show Podcast
The first half of 2020 has been a rollercoaster for everyone in the trade show space. Exhibiting companies, attendees, conference hosts, hotels, event staff, and several others have all felt the pain. Over 1,000 have been canceled across the globe in 2020, and 2021 is not necessarily looking more promising, especially when next year starts out with CES, one of the world’s largest trade shows, pivoting from an epic in-person to a fully virtual trade show event. There is a lot of uncertainty around when things will get back to normal, seeing that we don’t know how soon the pandemic will be gone, or if it will resurface. So it’s not too surprising to see the trends online for virtual trade shows vs traditional trade shows.
